HAPPY BIRTHDAY SON!!!!

19 years ago today, ok technically he does not have a birthday this year, I gave birth to my wonderful son.

Son, you are a wonderful, thoughtful, caring young man. Your Dad and I are both very proud of you. We wish you all the happiness in the world.

I still can't believe that he is actually 19, while I know that this is not old, it is hard fro a mom to wake up and realize that her baby is grown up.

SUPER BOWL KNITTING

So my daughter is not a knitter, actually about a year ago I tried to teach her how to knit. It was comical, she tried to knit and each row she would end up with double the amout of stitches. So after about half hour of frustration, she threw the needles on the floor, stood up looks at me and says "I don't like your game", and walked away. She has refused to touch the needles since, so this week when I told her that I was going to be doing the Knittiy Gritty Knit In, and what it was she decided to join me. She never stops amazing me, she is such a great kid with a heart of gold. Here are some pictures of her knitting her square.

Sweater Update

I finished the back of the sweater on Saturday. I started the front right away. I am very pleased with my progress, I love how it is turning out and can't wait until it is completed.
Here you can see the detail of the sweater. The color is closer to the first picture and I think that I am going to use my pewter buttons, I still not sure.
